About Us
The Rental Shop is truly a locally owned and operated company. We take pride in being Bendites. Melissa Waldman’s family has been living in Bend for more than five generations. Melissa grew up in her family’s convenience store. She worked from a young age and loved every minute. Always eager to learn, Melissa was running the family store by the age of 16. While learning the fundamentals of business management as a young girl, she saw the importance of honesty and great customer service. Later, while helping family with their rental properties, she came to understand the importance of being a good landlord. Melissa received her Real Estate licensed at age 23 and completed her ABR and GRI certifications. In 2009 she completed her certification for Principal Broker. Melissa is currently an active Board Member of Central Oregon Renter Owners Association.
